The Right Pipe - For your smooking plesure

Jobey Selection

Jobey Pipes offer a quality smoke, mystery, and of course the “Jobey Link” which makes any potential repairs easy enough to do yourself! Jobey Pipes have been crafted in England, North American and France over the years, which is why knowing the year of any Jobey Pipe is important to determining its origin. Our Jobey Pipes come from France and include the Stromboli, Band, Asti Classic and Sunburst collections. As a flyer (believed to be circa 1970) advertises, "The briar root JOBEY insists upon for its peer of pipes is left untouched to grow, harden and sweeten for 100 years. That’s because JOBEY feels that only after 100 years can the briar root reach its peak of perfection and be ready to product some of the finest pipes in the world… JOBEY uses only the heart of this century old briar and only one out of 500 bowls turned measures up to the rigid JOBEY specifications."

Many of our Jobey Pipes offer a fully or partially rusticated bowl. The bowl of the Asti Classic 130 displays a smooth lower portion and light rusticated upper portion of the bowl while the most heavily rusticated and black in color Jobey Pipes are found in the Stromboli collection. The Jobey Pipes in the Stromboli collection also sport a unique tortoise shell, tan pearlized Lucite stem.

Each Jobey Pipe has a distinct look, yet is unmistakably a Jobey. The Band 110 Jobey Pipe has spot carved areas whereas all of our Jobey Pipes in the Sunburst collection are smooth with a dark walnut stain. The stems of these Jobey pipes are black and the bowls have a single band. From the bent bulldog bowl of the Sunburst 165 to the bent godet of the Stromboli 355, our Jobey Pipes come with a cloth sleeve and box, fine craftsmanship and a most importantly, a quality smoke.
