Vauen, the maker of unique and perfectly engineered tobacco pipes, has designed a line of pipes that pay homage to one of woodworkers favorite materials, maple. While the pipe itself is still made of briar, a strip of virgin unstained maple is the material of choice for the band. The tenon takes a 9mm. filter or adapter to make the tenon filterless.
